I've had issues some month ago. After an update, Firefox simply lost all my history of the past 6 years. There was no way to get it back and I just lived with it.

Now to prevent this I set up sync between my office computer, Macbook and Android to have all the 3 Firefox Browsers synchronized.

But it only syncs the bookmarks and autofill passwords between devices. The history never gets synched properly. Today my Macbook browser history was lost after an update again, I still have some history visible on my phone but it is not synching to the history of the computer.

I checked/tried: - rebooting Macbook - all devices are set up for sync with the same account and the sync options (Bookmarks, History etc.) are all ticked - I deleted the places.sqlite on the Macbook and replaced it with the .corrupt version.

I feel like sync has never worked properly for me before and wonder: How can I set it up tp sync open tabs and especially my bloddy history?!

Thank you for advice,

Nils

I have also retrieved the yesterdays version of places.sqlite from my profile folder via TimeMachine.

When I replace the current one with the version from yesterday and restart firefox, the history simplay remains blank.
