I am trying to add a talktalk email account to Thunderbird. The automatic sensing features are not giving the correct settings for TT and I have to reset them manually. When I have done this I get an error as shown on the attached image.

All the settings shown are as required by TT.

This follows from a more universal problem TT has had recently after updating their system (don't know the details) which was generally fixed by turning SSL of and then on. My other TT accounts worked this way, but not this one and I have had to delete it and re-install.

Before anyone asks - yes I have checked the password it is correct and so is the email address!

This problem has now been resolved by Talktalk who caused it in the first place while updating their system (i'm told).
