I do not have any other devices-- so how will this update work for me
I do not own a mobile phone or i pad or any devices.. so there is not a back up for me.. how can I now go online and get my google questions answered..etc

Hi Jwri, you don't need multiple devices to use Firefox. You can ignore suggestions about your other devices and browse the web using the address bar, bookmarks, etc.
As for backups, you can make backups of your Firefox data locally using backup software or by making copies of files from time to time. This article has more information on where Firefox stores your data: Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles.
