BBC iplayer won't run

Had a power cut, when it came back on Firefox wouldn't run BBC iplayer, I got a kind of primitve menu, like a twenty year ol website, but nothing will play... Iplyer runs okay on Chrome. Firefox is okay running Netflix, on demand ITV, Ch4, Ch5 etc... Tried reinstalling Iplayer and Firefox. No joy  :-(

hi, you could try to clear the cache & cookies from bbc.co.uk and reload the page.
