I'm able to log in to my Firefox account on Android and everything seems like it gets confirmed correctly. However, when I tap "Firefox Account" in settings, the next screen for suncong options has a red banner at the top that says "your account needs to be verified. Tap to resend verification email". Tapping brings me directly to my Firefox account management page and no verification email is sent.

I've tried disconnecting the account and reconnecting. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox. Neither of these things did anything.

Are you following the link in the confirmation email ?

Yes, when it does actually send an email, the link just takes me to the account management page.

I have the same problem. I just changed my multi-factor authentication method because Authenticator+ apparently doesn't work with Firefox Sync but Google authenticator does (that's another problem) and now my Firefox for Android won't sync. I get the same messages as gregghz does and have the same issue - tapping brings me directly to my Firefox account management page and no verification email is sent.
