Lighting disappeared and at the same time I cannot access the Advanced option

It started with trying to add new appointments to the calendar (Lighting extension). I looked at some advice that suggested to start Thunderbird in safe mode, select the reset option and then restart normally. Now it seems that I am stuck in safe mode, the Lighting calendar is inaccessible and all my calendar information has disappeared. When I try to open Advanced option, it will not open. It seems that I am stuck in Safe mode.

Check this: Menu app icon > 'Addons' > 'Addons' Select 'Extensions' Is Lightning enabled ? If not enabled then click on 'Enable'

Thank you for the suggestion. I have done that before and found that Lighting was enabled throughout.
