Help with installing firefox on my new Samsung Tablet A

After downloading it on an additional new device, I am not able to log into my account because the boxes I must type info into will not land my cursor into them and bring up the on screen keyboard. The device came with Google Chrome as its default Browser. However, I want Firefox instead. I even uninstalled it and installed Firefox for Android, Beta with same issue. ALL of my other devices had no issues, only this new device. Any and all help would be amazing to me. Sincerely, Herb Powell
