Thunderbird looses my account settings on each start (win10)

more options

Installed Thundrbird 78.2.0, configure account settings. On next start I am prompted to configure account again. Tried reinstalling Thunderbird. Tried deleting Thunderbird folders under %appdata% (both roaming and local). Tried forcing Thunderbird to ask me which profile to load and each start - the profile that I choose is not getting deleted, but settings inside are getting deleted. Tried disabling Symantec antivirus

I need to use Thunderbird only FOR SENDING VIA SMTP. I do not need to receive mail via POP3 and IMAP so I put some random stuff in POP3 section.

Also I noticed that each time I start Thunderbird it ask me "do you want Thunderbird to be default mail application?" I choose NO - never ask again and it keep asking on the next start. It does not remember it.

No, It's already working marvelous! I will recommend Thunderbird to friend and colleague and rate it much more than Outlook, which costs money. Really good help, thank you guys!
