ID and PW popup offers old ones, how delete?

Evidently when setting up Firefox and importing from Chrome my ID's and passwords, there were some pretty old ones in there. Now with Firefox when I go to a website to login it presents a popup offering a selection of saved ID/PWs for this site. On Chrome, and even Edge, I could just arrow down to an old one and when highlighted hit Delete to clean these out, without having to search for them in a different place to manage that.

How can I do this the easy way with Firefox - an extension or option somewhere?

In Firefox you need to use "Shift + Delete" to remove an item in an autocomplete drop-down list, so you can try that.

You can use these steps to remove saved items from an autocomplete drop-down list.

  1. click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list
  2. highlight an entry in the drop-down list with cursor Down key
do not click the mouse or press the Enter key
  3. press Shift+Delete (68+) to delete the highlighted entry

In Firefox, adding, editing and removing usernames and passwords is done through the Firefox Lockwise page. This page can be accessed by pressing the Firefox menu button (three lines in the top-right) and selecting Logins and Passwords.

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys, but I know this is how Firefox itself does it. It's just that Edge and Chrome both offer a technique to simply arrow down to an old one and hit Delete key. I was hoping there was an extension of other option that would enable that on Firefox. So much easier and faster than going to a different panel and re-entering the web address to find all ID's and PW's for it and deleting the old ones.

Is there any possibility of such an extra feature, evidently I have a bunch to do for some reason.
