Master Password in Firefox for Android
Hi I use the Firefox Password-Manager on Desktop. Also i Synch that with my Android Phone.
Now my Question: On the Desktop Version i am able to set a Master Password. On the Android Version i do not find such a thing. Why? I would like to set a Master Password also there. Otherwise everyone who is able to get my Mobile in a Unlocked state is able to use all my Passwords. Which should not be.
I know they can only use the passwords when they are able to open the mobile with the mobile pin/password or fingerprint. But i would like to have a seperate MAster-Password only for Lockwise/Browser
Ist this somehome possible? Thanks foryour Help

Hi
Firefox for Android will not be getting a primary password feature. You can read more about the decision behind this at: https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/14501#issuecomment-683888369
I hope that this helps.
Hi Thanks for your reply. Oh. Thats very sad that this decision was taken. In this case i guess i need to lock for another solution. The Lock of the Phone itself is not save enough. And i do not want to use biometrics. So if someone have access to my phone, they would be able to get all my passwords. They just need to open the website on my phone and can log in everywhere without problems. Wich would be a very big problem for me. A Master Password like it is on the Desktop Firefox would solve this problem. I guess also for many many other users. Sad. Was so happy to find this solution. But without Master-Password it is for nothing. I do not understand why. Because you could argue the same on Firefox Desktop, no? Also there you need a Password to login to Windows first. But there is the Option for a MasterPassword.
Kind Regards Marco
