I use Firefox on Adnroid, which is synced to my Firefox on desktop. The logins and passwords are all there, correctly synced.

I also used to be, not but a month ago, that these passwords would also correctly autofill.

This autofill feature has been broken for me for two or three weeks. No icon, no suggestion, nothing.

Here's a list of people who have had the same issue in this very forum, going back August of 2020:

Please let us know when we can throw a birthday party for this malfunction of a fundamental feature.

Yes, i logged into my Mozilla account and sync has never been an issue. When this problem started happening this was one of the first things i double-checked.

Thank you for your attention

Okay.

So I have just used password auto-fill to sign into a website for the first time in Firefox for Android (having saved and synced the user credentials from Firefox on my laptop). As I have found previously, it worked first time.

Do you have any add-ons installed in Firefox for Android?

No, the modules i have installed in desktop Firefox don't appear to have carried over to Android, as the add-ons page only shows recommendations.

That said, and i really hope this isn't too frustrating, the issue appears to have solved itself, autofill has worked as it should several times recently. I didn't do anything to make it work. If the problem comes and goes as it pleases, it's going to be hard to try solutions and figure out if they work...

Thank you for your time
