Since recent I cannot open attachment files on emails in thunderbird v78.12. I right click the attachment then click open, nothing happens. I tried to reinstall thunderbird, same problem. Can anyone help? Or please tell me how to complete uninstall thunderbird? Seem like after reinstall all my email accounts are still there. Thanks!

I can save as the attachments and open it without problem. It is win10 pro 64 bit.

Help/Troubleshooting, Profile Folder, Open Folder, close TB, delete or rename handlers.json, restart TB, open an attachment, and in the resulting window, set the app for opening the attachment file type, check the box 'Always...' to store the setting.

tried the above, same problem. When I click to open the attachment, nothing happens.
