Removed win10 Office 365 app now firefox is dead.
PC was running fine and firefox. Removed the office365 app that comes with win10 and now its no go. Reinstalled and no go. Done safe mode and no go. Removed all files and new install of firefox still no go.
So I have to say that may be office365 app has removed some important files that were shared. I haven't installed office365 as I use office pro 2010 which still works fine. Im used that snarky edge browser at the moment.
Any ideas?

Did you download and re-run the installer from Microsoft's site (see cor-el's post)? That is the known solution, but of course it might not be the only solution. To reiterate:
(B) In the "Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022" section of the article, download the installer for your system:
- 64-bit Windows: the "X64" download
- 32-bit Windows: the "X86" download
(C) Run that installer and restart Windows.
Any improvement?

You can check for issues caused by a corrupted or incomplete Visual C++ installation that is missing runtime components (Redistributable Packages) required by Firefox, especially VCRUNTIME140_1.dll.
See "Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019":
- https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
- https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x86.exe
You may also have to install the Visual Studio 2013 Redistributable Package. You may have to reboot the computer.
I done a repair on firefox and it said it could not find the VBruntime140_1.dll file you said above. However it seems to be present in the C:/Program files/Mozilla Firefox directory.
I also done a repair on the Visual C++ 2017 installation and made no difference. Opened the browers and it sits idle. Close it and check in tack manager and still running so I end edits process.

Ok, I downloaded the x64 installer and restarted windows. Re-installed firefox and it picked up all my bookmarks etc. Works fine now.
When I done a search on the system folder for VBRUNTIME140_1.Dll it seems to be in quiet a few programs but I noticed each version is different.
So after installing that visual studio package it added a 2015 version to the program list with my 2010 version (which I'd say is for office 2010) and 2017 version for other programs.
Well thank you for the solution and fix. The main idea of removing Office 365 app was to stop a Microsoft advertisement coming up to buy Office 365 every time my Office 2010 done a update.
Maybe I should look at Openoffice as I used this many years ago (late 1990's) and it was good to use.
You also can look at Libre Office, which is a fork of OpenOffice.
