When I try to go to the website https://www.maynardsfruit.co.uk I get the error screen with message Firefox can’t find the file at moz-extension://a688749c-0504-43a8-a282-8897baf99600/html/site_status_block_page.html

This is very frustrating, as I need some information from this webpage.

Hi

Which add-ons do you have installed in Firefox?

When I do a web search for "site_status_block_page.html" there are some references to a McAfee add-on. ??

One place to check which add-ons is associated with "a688749c-0504-43a8-a282-8897baf99600" is the About Debugging page. Type or paste about:debugging in the address bar and press Enter to load that internal page. In the left column, click "This Firefox". Now Firefox should present a list of active extensions, each with two different codes: a public "Extension ID" and a private "Internal UUID" generated for your personal installation. The "a688749c-0504-43a8-a282-8897baf99600" would be one of the internal UUIDs.

The only one is McAfee Web Advisor, which came installed with the laptop.

One other thought: in case Firefox previously stored a redirect in the web content cache, you could either:

(A) Test whether you can reach the page in a private window (right-click the link > Open Link in New Prviate Window), or

(B) Clear Firefox's web content cache

See: How to clear the Firefox cache (only select Cached web content, don't clear all cookies and site data)

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.

You should be able to access the site with it disabled.
