We have 3 Email accounts with Orange.fr, who recently blocked them, due to 'Suspicious Activity'. In the process of unblocking them, I unwittingly selected IMAP protocol. I need to re-activate our POP3 accounts and remove the IMAP ones. I've followed your guidence onthis, but get error message "Incoming server already exists" Can you help, please? Best wishes Derek

You can have the same email account set up as POP and IMAP at the same time in Thunderbird. If you're getting that error, it must be because you're trying to set up as POP a mail account that does already exist also as POP in Thunderbird.

Thank you for your reply, DavidGG, but it didn't solve my problem. However, I have managed to reinstate our POP3 accounts (but I can't remember how), and this morning, I discovered how to remove all three IMAP accounts altogether, so I'm a happy bunny! Best wishes Del
