Hello pauline chapman,

please follow these steps:

  1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Escape on your computer.
  2. In the Task Manager window, click the Processes tab.
  3. For every firefox.exe that you find in the list, click it and hit the End process button.
  4. Confirm the message with Yes.

Re-try to open Firefox, by double-clicking the file.
