When I try to download anything nothing happens, whether it is an email attachment or a file off of lets say download.com. If I do it in IE everything works fine.

Anytime I try to download something whether it is an email attachment or a file off of the internet I click the button to download and nothing happens, if the download takes me to a new tab normally the new tab will open but the tab will be blank. If I use IE then I have no problems. When I first started having this problem cnet videos would also not load, however after I uninstalled firefox and re-installed it that problem was fixed.

Hey there: That doesn't sound like much fun :( I think it might be downloading fine. Go to tools > options > general > save files to see what folder things are being saved to and see if your files are there.

Here is an article with the specifics - What to do if you can't download or save files.

Hope that helps!
