My important toolbars are gone!

It seems that my URL bar has disappeared. And, even worse, so has my toolbar that says "File, Help, Edit" etc. I've tried re-installing Firefox, only to still be met with this problem.

It sounds like you inadvertently hid those Toolbars.

Hit the Alt key to show the Menu bar, then open View > Toolbars and select Menu bar, so it has a check-mark.
