Only with Firefox, I cannot compose/reply to received email on my alternate gmail account. (It works fine for the main one.) If I change browsers I can...I would prefer to use firefox if possible.

I am fine in my usual email. When I sign out and sign in to my alternate email (both are gmail accounts) I can receive and read email but I cannot reply to any. I am on my laptop. When I am home and using my desktop computer this is not a problem. If I use Internet Explorer on my laptop it is also not a problem. Since I like Firefox better I would like to remedy this and be able to use Firefox AND reply to emails received in my secondary Gmail account.

What do you think about the possibility that one of your cookies is confusing GMail when you are logged in to the second username?

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

1. Clear Firefox's Cache

Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > "Clear Now"

2. Delete your *.google.com cookies

Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Carefully remove the site's cookies individually, do NOT click remove "all" unless you really want to remove all your cookies (there is no undo for this dialog).

Any luck?
