Why if I type Manchester Wing Chun into the address bar do I get directed to manchesterwingchun.co.uk when manchesterwingchun.com has existed longer?
If I type Manchester Wing Chun into google it performs a search, and usually if I type something into the address bar it performs a search. But when typing Manchester Wing Chun into the address bar I get redirected straight away?
There is a ManchesterWingChun.com which has existed the longest, but firefox ?ignores this and goes to the .co.uk site with the same name?

Address bar search usually is handled by Google's "Lucky" search, sending you to the top result of a Google search automatically.
I wonder whether it is because your browser's language is en-GB, that Google thinks you would prefer the .co.uk site?
(Actually, it may not be the language but your current network connection location. For example, when I was in Taiwan earlier this year, Google searches redirected to Google's Taiwanese site.)

You can set keyword.URL to make Firefox (Google) always do a search.
