I have an LG Ally - won't open
I tried to install the Beta since I have an LG ally with Android 2.1 and love using Firefox when I'm on my desktop. I installed it and immediately it said low space on my phone. Then after installation I tried to open it and when I clicked on it, it showed a black screen & then back to my home screen. I tried again and the same result. I would like to make sure my phone is supported because I'd love to have my browser sync on both my mobile and desktop device. Please give me some advice so I can use this app!

For the LG Ally, you need to use the experimental ARMv6 nightly builds, even then the system requirements just show that you might be able to run it. For details see the system requirements section of https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android
That didn't work either. It says I need to manage my applications and remove some. Guess I'm going to have to wait until the actual release.
I do have 46.39 MB availabe internally on my phone & 3.62GB on the card. No way I could install it though? I'm also beta testing tweetdeck, probably not helping me, right?
Future nightly builds will require much less space to install on Android, after bug 588607 is fixed.
Ok guess I'll have to be patient and wait. Please let me know when it' in the market-it will be a free app, right?
Yes, Firefox is completely free and open source.
