My history is not working and I am unable to save bookmarks
When I click on history and then Show all history all I get is the month of October. If I try to expand October I get nothing. It appears that no history is being recorded. If I try to save a web page to my bookmarks, the bookmark window which you use to determine which folder the page is to be saved to does not appear. It does not matter what method of bookmarking the page I try, I am unable to get the window to appear.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
Thank you for your fast response. I followed the instructions for damaged places database and everything is working fine now. Best wishes.........
