How can I totally and permanently STOP "page preview" windows?
How can I totally STOP those annoying and distracting pop-up "preview" page images from appearing whenever I happen to move the cursor over search results pages?

That post consisting of only the URL about instant search results was not even related to the issue of page previews popping up while I want that to STOP occurring. If that is helpful for the user, that's wonderful. But it should be possible to STOP that for those of us who do NOT want that to occur.
This is surprising and disappointing, because Firefox is so excellent, with more user-configurable options, yet I cannot find any place where the settings and/or options affect that particular Cutsey-Poo annoying action.
If you mean something else then please provide "Steps to Repeat" (STR) and attach a screenshot to illustrate what you mean.
