Can I have icons display in the navigation toolbar (back, forward, reload, etc.) but *not* have favicons display in my bookmarks toolbar?
I have just downloaded Firefox 4. I would like my navigation toolbar to display icons—for buttons like back, forward, reload, etc—but I do not want my bookmark toolbar to display favicons for each bookmark. The favicons in the bookmark toolbar take up way too much space. In Firefox 3.x.x, I was able to have icons for navigation buttons, but not in the bookmarks toolbar. Is there a way to customize the navigation and bookmarks toolbars separately to have icons in one, but just text in the other?

You can do that with the Bookmarks Deiconizer extension - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/bookmarks-deiconizer
This looks great, and users' reviews indicate it works great, but it isn't working for me. It doesn't seem to change anything when I try the different settings under toolbar customization (for icon, text, or both.) Maybe I'm missing something? Just to be clear—I would like to have icons for my navigation buttons, but not have favicons appear on my bookmarks toolbar.
