How do I block dang annoying Apture highlights pop up, when I hover over or highlight a word on a website?

Having just installed Firefox 4 I am being constantly annoyed by "info" popups by "Apture highlights". Why on earth do they allow these sort of advertising pain-in-the-xxxx pop-ups? How can I stop it please??????

Add the following lines to you're hosts file

127.0.0.1 www.apture.com

127.0.0.1 apture.com

This works on linux and Windows platforms.

For windows XP the hosts file is usualy in this folder

C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/DRIVERS/ETC/
