Downloaded the new upgrade but still get the message I need to upgrade. Why?
Downloaded the new upgrade twice and am still getting this message. Do you know why?

The Firefox 3.5.x branch has reached end-of-life and is no longer maintained.
There will be no more security updates released for that branch and the Firefox 3.5.19 version is the last Firefox 3.5.x version.
You can update Firefox via "Help > Check for Updates or download and install the full version of Firefox 3.6.x or 4.0.x.

- Firefox 3.6.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
I tried to download the new version, but it is not working. Can you please tell me why? I downloaded the 4.0 version and still get this message and will have to stop using Firefox if this is not corrected:

Did you try to download the full version from one of the above posted websites?
If updating doesn't work then you need to do that.
