can't type code from 2nd device to 1st device to enable sync-ing.

Im syncing my laptop to my pc. I have created a sync account on the pc. When I try to add a device, I am unable to type any codes on either computer or laptop. As I have both screens open at the same time, pls confirm which code I am taking and putting on to which computer. Why can't I type any codes at all????

Are you logged on to the Sync server on the PC?

You can also enter the account name (email address) and password and the Sync key.

  • Open "Tools > Options > Sync" or "Firefox > Set Up Sync"
  • Click "Set Up Firefox Sync" to go to "Firefox Sync Setup"
  • Click "I already have a Firefox Sync account" : Connect
  • Click "I don't have the device with me" at the bottom

hiya, thanks for your time. i know how to do it but for some reason i can't type in codes.. am thinking cos have read some reviews about firefox synching, that I might just sync using smth else altogether. it seems there are lots of problems with ff 5...
