When I use F11 to use full screen The navigation and tab bars show up when they are supposed to dissapear and reappear only when I bring my mouse to the top of the page. HELP!!!
When you open FireFox you have all the toolbars showing at the top of the screen. When you click full screen (or F11) all of those toolbars are supposed to disappear. They only reappear when you bring your pointer to the very top of the web page. Now my problem is that whenever i hit the full screen option the only some of the toolbars disappear and not all of them. I want to make all of the the toolbars disappear in the first place, but the navigation and tabs toolbar still show up. Those two are only supposed to show up when i bring my pointer to the top of the page. Also, FYI I'm using Ubuntu operating system, in case that makes a difference.

There may be a difference between the Ubuntu supplied version of Firefox and the official Mozilla version. Ubuntu supplies an Ubuntu Firefox Modifications extension and that might affect what you're seeing. I'm using the Ubuntu version on my EeePC netbook and I'm not seeing a difference in the Full Screen action as far as the Navigation bar and Tab bar go, but I am using the Autohide extension which offers a much greater degree of customization for the Full Screen mode than Firefox comes with.
Can you right-click the Navigation Toolbar or Tab bar in full screen mode and check-mark Hide Toolbars?
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
