How can I turn off gesture navigation that constantly causes inadvertant forward/back navigation.
I have no desire to use mouse/touchpad gesture navigation, yet my normal rolling the mouse around is causing maddening random forward and back navigation as I use firefox. When filling out forms this is especially bad since sometimes I lose all the form data when a random back-navigation occurs. I tried to figure out what the gestures are in order to avoid them, but I couldn't replicate them at all when I was trying to, yet it happens so constantly in normal surfing and is a big time waster. This may be a useful feature to some but it is a bug to me. I just want it to stop completely. How can I do that?

HAVE YOU TRIED to change the settings of your mouse in the operating system?
- Select Control Panel from Start Menu.
- Select the Device Settings Tab.
- Click the Settings Button.
- Click the + sign to expand the Gestures Settings.
- Select Two-Finger Flick.
- Uncheck the box for Two-Finger Flick then Click OK.
- Click OK on mouse Properties.
This solved my problem with Gestures in FireFox but the mouse settings are different for different manufacturers however, the settings should be similar.

Enter "about:config" (without quotes) in address bar and hit Enter. Search for "gesture" and clear the value of "browser.gesture.swipe.left" and "browser.gesture.swipe.right"
