The History for Firefox is kept in a separate location and in a separate file from IE's History. In Firefox, once deleted, History is not recoverable, or at best is very difficult/near impossible to recover. In Firefox, History and Bookmarks are both kept in a database, places.sqlite, in your Profile folder.

If Bookmarks are accidentally deleted, they may be recovered by using Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Organize > Undo but that must be done before closing/exiting Firefox; the same is NOT true for deleted History in Firefox.

Best advice, accept the mistake, and just move on.
