A couple of things: 1)Scrolling on too many sites, like the NY Times has become so slow and jumpy that the sites can't really be accessed. This became much more of a problem with the last update. Safari works fine. 2)Something called "Text Enhance" has started popping up windows on seemingly random sites, like my local public library. How do I get rid of those guys? I tried their "opt out" screen, but it does not seem to do anything. Safari is no solution for this one.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
