I can't access numerous website randomly today. But the same website could be accessed via IE8 without problems.

I got message like :
**********************************************************
Unable to determine IP address from host name "www.thesiteIvisit.com"

DNS server returned:
No DNS records

This means that the cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL. Check if the address is correct.

Your cache administrator is webmaster.

I had cleared my cache and history; but it does not help.

Do I need to increase cache size , how ?

Hi,

You can try to restart Firefox. Hopefully the problem will be gone. You can also try to set No proxy in Tools (Alt + T) > Options > Advanced > Network > [Settings.

Options

If the problem persists, you can also consider the Reset Firefox feature via Help (Alt + H) > Troubleshooting Information.

(To revert to the previous profile you were using, close the new profile (i.e. exit Firefox), start Firefox and choose the Default User profile. While the Profile Manager is open, you can also delete the newly reset profile (the one containing random numbers), or the former profile, as the case may be).

Did you try to reboot the computer or to reset (power off/on) the router?
