I recently was automatically updated to FF 16.0.2. After noticing another annoying change today, I would like to have this option disabled as I find it cluttering. When you have tabs open, there is a thumbnail or page over view that comes up. Sort of like Google does with a page caching to see what the page is about before clicking it. That I dont mind with google but with FF I do. Can anyone shed some light on how to disable this feature with FF? If its not with FF then what is it with and actually called? Here is a picture of what I am referring to. This quick overview pop up comes up on every tab that you have open. Picture Link http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/6023/image1kdz.jpg Thanks

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Thanks cor-el. Worked perfect. I had no problem in safe mode so it had to be one of my addons. I reset FF and will just do one add on at a time to see if it comes back or not. Thanks again.

You're welcome

If it does work in Firefox Safe-mode then disable all extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.

Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Okay Thanks!
