since 20.0 the shortcuts ctrl + shift + pgup / pgdn are being used twice: once by firefox, once by google spreadsheet
My system is Ubuntu 12.10, using Firefox 20.0. Whenever I use google Spreadsheets, I switch the tabs within one file with str + shift + pgup / pgdn. Since the last release of FF, this key-combination also shifts the tabs around. Is there a way to
- ) disable the firefox shortcuts ctrl + shift + pgup/pgdn
- ) let firefox only handle this shortcut, if the current webpage doesn't handle them
- ) any other solutions?
I already tried Add-Ons / Extensions to altere shortcuts, but none of those were able to edit this particular set of shortcuts.
Thanks in advance!

Sounds that Google will have to change this shortcut as it is now taken in Firefox 20 and later.
This is the result of the landing of this bug filed in 2006.
- bug 364845 - ctrl-shift-pageup/down should move current tab left/right
Thx for the answer, but my question still remains: is there a way to manually disable this shortcut so it won't be handled by firefox?
If extensions like keyconfig and Customizable Shortcuts weren't able to change this then I don't think that this is possible.
Thx again.
