For some reason the MMS on 3 of my computers isn't working properly and the auto updates fail.

FF downloads the updates, but they fail to install and I get an error window telling me that the partial update failed.

The only way around this is to let FF download the update, close FF then manually reopen FF as administrator or manually download FF and reinstall it.

Is anyone else having this problem, and is there a fix for this issue?

booblla, would you be willing to gather your update logs and e-mail them to me? If so let me know, I'll let you know where the logs are and where to e-mail them.

hello, the mozilla maintenance service doesn't provide the functionality to perform updates in the context of limited user accounts yet but is only used to circumvent the windows UAC prompts after each update.

but the good news is, in firefox 26 this is going to change: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/26.0beta/releasenotes/

I can do that. Just let me know where the files are and where to send them to.

I tried looking for the logs in %appdata%\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\lfcq8vd1.default but I'm most likely in the wrong place.
