get error 14 for 2 days. can't open mail, but works on internet explorer

When I try to open my email, an error 14 appears and says it's a temporary problem and can take minutes to hours to correct. This is day two, and it is still there. I can go to internet explorer and bring up my email.

My info is below: Been receiving "Temporary Error 14" for days now??? I followed the "Workaround" by Signing out of Yahoo Mail, clearing cache and cookie, restarting my web browser and signing back into my Yahoo Mail several times with no success??? Other Family Members are able to log into their Yahoo Mail using the same computer with no problem??? I'm using Firefox 28.0! I'm able to sign-in on a friends computer with chrome??? I even tried Firefox's "Safe Mode" and that didn't work???

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

In case you use a bookmark to reach the mail page then try to navigate to the mail page starting with the site's main page or its log in page.
