how to report broken website html? http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support

more options

hi, I was trying to fill out a form to ask a question on a 2-page form. First page is http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support

I filled in the 5 fields and selected 'find' which took me to the second page: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/contactsupport

The drop down buttons ( name of button-type??) did not work

I ran the W3C valdation tool on the webpage. (validator.w3.org) It came up with 15 errors. But that doesn't say that firefox is smarter than a validator. I took a look at the source code and was instantly overwhelmed with all of the scripts. -- Beyond my skill set----

So. Could you please, look at the site and see if it is a problem with Mozilla Firefox - or a problem with the website? I'm sure if you contact Intel (ARK.intel.com - website support) they would give more credence to your bona fides.

PS I should give you envirnmental stuff... Just installed UbuntuStudio 14.04 and am using the default Mozilla Firefox package aptitude versions firefox | grep ^i i 28.0+build2-0ubuntu2 trusty 500

The "about firefox" says Firefox 28 Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu canonical 1.0

There is a huge amount of data in about:config - I don't know what is important. I guess: gecko.buildID;20140410211200 gecko.mstone;28.0

about:plugins shows 5 1) Shockwave Flash

   Path: /usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so
   Version: 11.2.202.350

Hi Jay,

thanks for the report! In the future, you can use the site http://webcompat.com/ for this kind of report: it's supported by Mozilla, but specifically meant to be cross-browser, because we believe that the web should work in all browsers the same. Also, it's pretty slick and streamlined :)
