How do I force bookmarks created with <Ctrl>d, to go to "Unsorted Bookmarks" by default with a custom tag attached?

Like viewing a page, find it interesting, press <Ctrl>d and:

Bookmark goes directly to "unsorted bookmarks" instead of "Bookmarks menu";

A tag "Read later" is attached.

The little box that pops up is ok as long as it has those choices as defauls so I don't have to change them every time.

I do not, but: This makes it more complicated add bookmark here

This one is experimental but seems to do it automatically Auto Tagging

Let me know how you like those, I would be interested on how to do this as well! :-)

Thank you for the reply.

I'm sorry to say those don't seem to be a solution: both these extensions add mouse interaction which is what I am trying to avoid. Evenmore, the second extension is windows only and is not yet available for V. 29 of firefox.

Since you are interested in doing this aswell: I'm thinking that maybe only with the help of those extensions that help you create some kind of macros...

I try to avoid as much as I can to add extensions so firefox don't slow down, safety and KISS.

;-)

Ah, there is the Customizable shortcut extension, but this might not keep it simple.

Best option so far seems to be to just click the star instead of pressing the shortcut. I even saw a way to place a copy of the "Unsorted bookmarks" on the toolbar for easy access.

Still need to add the tag afterwords, which is not the best option... unless there is a way to show bookmarks without tags! That would be awesome.

Do you know of such a way?
