Captcha
For some time now I have not been able to access any website secured with Captcha verification. My browser doesn't recognize that I'm a human and keeps going back to square one. Importantly: this problem does not occur in other browsers. However, I would prefer to stay with Mozilla, so it will be nice if something can be done with it. I didn't change any settings, I didn't change hardware, I didn't reinstall Mozilla, so that's not the problem. I've looked through my security settings and don't see anything that would help in this case. Especially since these are websites that I had previously accessed and logged in without any problems.

What site are you referring to here? If there is no links for others to replicate the issues then no one is going to know what is going on.

It was discovered in this question that Malwarebytes Browser Guard addon was breaking captchas: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1463130#answer-1673880
If you have the MalwareBytes Browser Guard addon, please disable it. They have not fixed this issue on their side yet.
If you don't have that addon, please disable any other privacy addons you may have. This includes ad blocking addons like Adblock Ultimate, AdGuard, AdBlock Plus or uBlock Origin.
Read this article to disable the addons that might be causing the captcha failures: Disable or remove Add-ons
Please let us know which addon was responsible if this fixes the problem.
