Can I add Thunderbird to startup so it starts upon computer boot-up?
Hello! And THANK YOU!! As you can gather from the subject line, I want to know if Thunderbird can be loaded automatically upon booting my computer?
My OS is Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnamon, Cinnamon Ver. 6.4.6 Thunderbird-Nebula 128.7, 64Bit for Linux Mint-001 - 1.0
I also have a master password enabled on my TB installation.
If not, maybe it could be added to a future release:)
Thanks again, MA

I do not want any issues and i know i can physically add it to start automatically upon boot-up. After re-reading my OP, I see i was a little vague, but what i was going for was would it create "issues" and i guess you did answer that;)
Thanks, MA

If you want issues, go right ahead and set it up for system startup.
I personally see support requests from folk of slow computers with slow internet connections complaining about their choice to load their mail programs as a part of the system startup than I think it will even "help" but it is your choice and there is nothing to stop you doing so.
As you are on Linux try the information here https://www.simplified.guide/linux/automatically-run-program-on-startup
