Hi law5soccer, the programs in this support article have been useful to other Firefox users for cleaning up unwanted programs: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware.

If you don't mind a little manual investigation, you could check the Add-ons page first. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a
  • orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Here you may find extension you installed yourself from the add-ons site, and extensions installed by other software perhaps without your knowledge. If you find unnecessary or suspicious entries, try to remove them. If there is no remove button, you will need to remove them from the Windows Control Panel or using the clean-up programs. (You can at least disable them on the Add-ons page.)

If you have questions about specific problem items, please post back.
