Hi, after installing FF 29.0.1, when I open a new tab the cursor isn't focused on the address bar, or anything else for that matter. If I run FF in safe mode it works and the focus is on the address bar. If I disable all my extensions manually and start FF in normal mode it doesn't work.

I looked at that thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/972359 already, but that didn't help much.

What can I do to fix this?

Cheers

OK, solved the problem. Some Ask-Program was installed that was trying to make 'Ask' my home page and wanted to use 'Ask' as my search engine. It was not the Toolbar, but some other program with a quite lengthy name. Uninstalled that and I got my cursor set in the address bar again.

Just a suggestion - try disabling your two FortiClient plug-ins. If this helps you should get more specific advice to fix the problem.

Thanks for answering. Just tried it now and unfortunately it didn't help. Disabled both, but still no cursor in the address bar after opening a new tab. I won't be around my computer for a few days, so it'll take me some time to respond.
