about:config in FF for Android
Hello, I am using Firefox (version 32) on a rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 with Android 4.2.2. I was trying to change some settings in Firefox using about:config, especially the suggestions in the urlbar from bookmarks/history. I set browser.urlbar.maxRichResults to 0, and browser.urlbar.autocomplete.enabled to false, but its still showing me lots of suggestions from my bookmarks as i start typing in the address bar and doing autocomplete. Setting the value of maxRichResults to another number like 1 also doesnt work. I also made other changes in the about:config which were not adopted. I tried restarting firefox (changes in the about:config are visible), I restarted my phone, wiped Firefox Cache, wiped Firefox data using Titanium Backup and tried it on the fresh Firefox, but the problem persists. What am I doing wrong? I really love firefox on my desktop, but if i cant make any changes in the about:config for mobile FF, then the search suggestions will drive me crazy. ;) Any help is greatly appreciated!

Those settings do not apply to Firefox for Android. What are you trying to accomplish?

Thank you for clearing that up for me, I wasnt aware that those dont apply for FF for Android. I was trying to get rid of the URL Suggestions that pop up as soon as you start typing sth in the urlbar, sourced from your history and bookmarks. I disabled them in normal Firefox by using about:config so I was hoping it'd work here too, since there is no setting for it. Thanks for answering anyway.
