I can't open gmail it say's it is an untrusted site. I have never had this problem until recently. How do I fix it?

Hello,

Try clearing your cookies and cache and then try signing in again.

  • History (or New Fx Menu > History) > Clear Recent History

Or: "Clear the Cache":

  • Tools (or New Fx Menu > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools (or New Fx Menu > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

If that doesn't help, try following the instructions on "This Connection is Untrusted" error message appears - What to do. A possibility is something happened to your cert8.db file, the instructions on that help guide will show you how to fix it.

If the guide also doesn't help, have you installed a new antivirus application recently?
