Firefox crashes

Firefox keeps crashing while I am using Pearson Math Lab and Mathway tabs. It causes me to have to resubmit work already done or get kicked out of test and the instructor is tried of hearing it. It seems like every 20-40 minutes it is lagging, locking up or completely crashing. My online school high recommends Firefox so I do not want to change if I can help it.

Hello there,

Clearing your browsers cookies and cache can help remove excess data that could be causing Firefox to crash.

You can try and clear the cache/cookies by doing the following:

1. Click the menu button and choose “History” 2. Then click “Clear Recent History” 3. Clear everything and tick all the boxes before clicking on “Clear Now”

Finally, relaunch your browser and see if the issue still persists.

If the above doesn't work then i would suggest a clean reinstall of Firefox

Hope this helps!
