How do I get rid of the row of commercial sites just below my bookmarks toolbar on my Mac?
There is a row of commercial sites just below my toolbar menu. The sites are: ShopAtHome; Go; Spring Savings; Groupon; Michaels; ShopGoldRewards; Online Coupons; Coupon Codes; 953 Grocery Coupons. How do I get rid of this row of icons/buttons?

Is it the Bookmarks Bar Bookmarks Bar? If so that link will describe how to remove it.
More likely it's a piece of adware like Genieo, in which case you might be seeing ads pop up in Mac OS notifications in the top right corner, as well. Is there a house icon in the top right corner that looks like this this?
You can check for recently installed suspicious or unknown extensions.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
I found the ShopAtHome ribbon under "View>Toolbars>ShopAtHome Ribbon." I unclicked it and the ShopAtHome ribbon disappeared. When I restarrt, however, the ShopATHome ribbon reappears. Is there a way I can permanently remove the ShopAtHome ribbon?
Did you check your extensions?
