Is there a way to automatically save a bookmark to the beginning of the toolbar list?

I have a lot of bookmarks on my toolbar. Whenever I go to add another one and plan on using it often, I want to have it appear at the beginning of my toolbar. It automatically gets placed at the end of my "show more bookmarks" list and then I have to find it and move it to the visible toolbar at the top of my window. Is there someway to change the bookmarking method to make it automatically save to the first spot on the toolbar?

I don't think there is any built-in setting for that. The following extension has a number of features to control where bookmarks are saved. Maybe it can manage this for you?

Add Bookmark Here 2 https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/add-bookmark-here-2/

Does that work?

Drag'n'drop the tab to the Bookmarks Toolbar to the position that you want that bookmark saved.
