A couple of weeks ago, I could no longer print using Firefox on a Macbook Air. Whenever I tried to print a web page, I get the error message "Print Preview Error, An error occurred while printing." After clicking on that message, I receive another error message "Printer Error, An error occurred while printing."

I loaded an add-on for Print Preview. Well, that "Print Preview Error" message disappeared, but the "Printer Error" message remained.

I bought a new printer, but the problem remained. I tried Safari, and the web page printed fine.

I created a different user account on the computer, and the web page printed fine using Firefox. Hmmm.

I called Apple Tech Support, and they had me clean up some printer files on the account, but that didn't fix the problem.

Per the Mozilla Support website, I reset the print_printer in config:about, but the problem remains.

I guess my next step will be to delete Firefox and reinstall it. Would that be your recommendation?

Thanks for any help.

Thanks. I'll do that next week when I return.
