Just downloaded Foxfire and having mutliple problems. 1) every time I open a saved shortcut on my phone's home page, it does not actually open unless I click AGAIN "open tab", which is very stupids and unnecessary.

2) every time I open a new tab, it opens a list of recent websites I have visited and not Google, which I have set up both as my home page and my default search engine.

3) there is no spell check when I type. For example, ween I type in this box to type this question, there is no indication "ween" is spelled wrong.

1. Try turning off the tab queue in Menu - Settings - General

2. Well, the new tab button isn't your homepage button. You only get your homepage loaded when you first start Firefox. It's the same in desktop version too. If you want to access your homepage quicker, go to addons and install the "Home button for firefox android". In all honesty, though, I'm not sure when you need Google in your new tab for - if you have it as your default browser, you can google directly from the address bar. It's quicker since you don't have to wait for google to load first.

3. Firefox for android was designed for mobiles and tablets. They don't have built-in physical keyboards and use virtual ones. You have word suggestions in your virtual keyboard anyway, so there was no need to make a spellcheck feature. Keep in mind that adding a spellcheck for tens of languages would result in much bigger app sizes.

Thank you, that seems to have been the problem.

Okay, but the Foxfire page seems very cluttered. But I can work with this.

Nope, not correct. Facebook is where I do most of my typing and when using the mobile facebook site via Foxfire, there are no word-suggestions nor red-underlines. This was one of the reasons I installed Foxfire. To have a spellchecker that Chrome does not offer. (The other beings an overlap of layers on some sites--such as menus--that prevent me from seeing page content and the website telling me the browser is outdated. That issue IS fixed with Foxfire.) This is true with Facebook on both my phone and tablet.
