Dialog box for "Want Firefox to remember this password?", allows me to select "Never remember the password..." , but does not take effect, and repeatedly shows up on every website after I've made the "Never remember..." selection option. How do I prevent that?

Hi, go to Options (in the 3-bar menu unless you've moved it), then deselect Remember logins for sites: Security and passwords settings

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!

That menu item is for not saving the password for the site you are currently logging into is:

"Never Remember Password for This Site"

Won't ask again for that domain, but will continue to ask at all others.
